Helping Tracy during her recovery

Donation protected
Tracy was on her way home from work in September and was struck by a drunk driver. Tracy has worked at Sugarbush Tavern in chesterfield over 15 years. Driving home late from work she has seen many drunk drivers on the road,  and this was her second time being hit by one. Unfortunately this time she found herself severely hurt and has a long road of recovery ahead of her and will not be able to work. The drunk driver hit her head on, on the drivers side.  Because she is a waitress she will have no income while she heals and recovers from her accident. Tracy suffered a broken sternum, tibia, fibula and multiple broken bones in her ankle.  Tracy has spent 7 days in the hospital and had surgery on her leg and ankle.  She will also spend many weeks in a rehabilitation center. Once she can take care of herself and they allow her to go home, she will have months before she is able to work again. The orthopedic surgeon said it will be at least a year before she will be able to work because it will take this long for her to fully heal.  Her broken bones in her right ankle and leg were so severe and because she is on her feet to do her job, she won’t be able to work until she is fully healed. If you can help her so she can continue to pay her bills, she would greatly appreciate your help. Tracy has a 14 year old son who attends Henry Ford high school and a 12 year old son who attends Bemis middle school.  Thank you for all your help.
