Helping to make Claire’s wishes come true

 

Although WE HAVE NOW REACHED OUR GOAL FOR THE DISNEY TRIP we are going to keep the fund raiser open and any further kind donations will then enable Claire to do more lovely family things with Josh and Ava and create even more beautiful memories

 Hello lovely People

Our names are Stacey, Sam & Mandy.

We have set up this go fund me page in the hope of raising £2500 to make our beautiful best friends wish come true and get her to Disney land Paris with her 2 children for a short break to make memories with their mum that they can hold and will cherish in their hearts for ever.

Claire was sadly diagnosed with bowel cancer very soon after giving birth to her beautiful daughter in 2019, at the young age of 38

Due to her young age, she had went thru 3 years of being misdiagnosed with IBS by her gp. So you can imagine this totally shattered her heart.

Claire was a single parent to her now 21 yr old son and her newborn daughter who was born quite poorly and had to stay in nicu for a while so she had that to contend with too. Still, Claire battled and fought the cancer like the true warrior she is. After 3 Months of having chemo, Major surgery and various other treatments that made her very poorly, her hair thinning and falling out, she finally got the news in 2020 that she had successfully kicked the cancers butt and was all clear

Fast forward 6 Months Claire was in hospital to have her colostomy bag removed, the final farewell to her last 4 years of hell.

sadly, when they opened her up they found more cancer in her gallbladder and liver. Tests quickly confirmed this.

Claire has now had the Absolutely soul destroying devastating news that she is untreatable with chemo alone and can’t be cured she will Still undergo chemo and very soon another major op. These interventions will only prolong Claire’s life and her prognosis is that of up to 5 years if operation is successful.

We really want to raise the funds to send our best friend on the trip of a lifetime with Josh and Ava.

Claire really is the most beautiful, kind, generous and loving person to anyone that knows her or meets her. She is the bravest, most courageous woman we know and she would do the exact same thing as this for any of her friends and family

PLEASE, please help us The cost of the trip including transport travel insurance spends and pcr tests will be around £2500 all together.

Claire is well known and very much loved by many people in our community and I know we can smash this for her ❤️
