Helping to keep The Northfield News

The worthy editor fell and broke his hip. Trying to get the paper our on time two weeks ago meant bringing old reliable Apple compositing computer to the hospital and moving it caused it to crash. We were able to get out one issue before it failed all together.  To keep the paper going, we have  had to buy a new Apple and buy all new software programs for it as the ones we had would not work on the new computer.  This has been a  horrendous expense for us that was not planned and could not have been anticipated.  As they say, when it rains it pours and boy, has it. We haven't missed an edition  yet and don't plan to do so. We have been publishing for 137 years and haven't missed one yet.  To you, our subscribers and readers, you mean the most to us and to the town of Northfield we hope to stay alive.  Your help will assure that this will happen.  Thanks to all of you.
