Helping the Kaufman's - Andy and Beckett Memorial

Donation protected

Tragedy has struck three small communities in Iowa.

On Friday July 16, 2021 Andy and Beckett Kaufman tragically passed away from a barn collapse in Dike. Three communities: Fairbank, Jesup and Dike/New Hartford are affected and mourning. Dike's Superintendent, Justin Stockdale released the following:

Brook, a teacher at Jesup Community Schools and a native of Fairbank could use our support along with the families four other children. At this time we are asking all of you to come together and donate to their cause and if monetary donations cannot be given at this time, keep the entire Kaufman families in your thoughts and prayers.

We are working with other community members to establish local bank accounts to also accept donations in person and will update as they become available later Monday.

John Deere employees are also eligible to donate through the Greater Good program by searching for Jesup Community Betterment and denoting your donation with Kaufman's family.

Jesup Community Betterment is a non-profit organization that fundraises for families in need with ties to the Jesup Community.  Funds are distributed to the Kaufman family via Cashiers Check as they are delivered to our donation account. We will work directly with the Kaufman family when that time gets closer.
