Give a self-care Christmas Present to the Homeless

Donation protected
We are four Occupational Therapist student from Christ Church Canterbury. This Project is part of our Professional Academic development and we decided to create a positive impact in the Canterbury Community by putting together a self-care pack to distribute just before Christmas to the Homeless through Catching lives (Charity)

We want to provide reusable face masks, hand creams, toiletries, and healthy fruit bars to individuals on the street who are homeless through Catching lives. This fund will be used to purchase a self-care pack for the homeless during this winter period, all funds will be used to purchase the items needs to be in the packs, left over money will then be given to the Charity- Catching Lives.

We want to help change attitudes and inform people about the issues surrounding homelessness; issues that, in this era of cuts and austerity, have potentials to affect us all. Our aim is to deliver these items just before Christmas, as this will be a good Christmas gift for the homeless and rough sleepers in the community

This support, we hope that it will creates a link between the OT student community and the Homeless community helping them to come together, whilst impacting positively on the homeless community. The team at Catching lives  will be grateful for any penny towards this project. Thank you all for your kind donations
