Helping the Holyfields!

Dylan (Stevie) Holyfield is 16 years old and has been in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at Children's Mercy Hospital getting the best care possible since Tuesday morning. Dylan is staying strong through a really tough week with 8 seizures and several lung clearing treatments among other invasive procedures. Last night (10/18) they sedated and intubated Dylan to stabilize vitals and suppress seizures. Things are headed in the right direction but the Holyfield's are feeling the financial toll of it already. Ashley (mom) and Josh (dad) are bedside comforting and helping take care for their child and therefore aren't able to work at this time. The expenses of traveling back and forth to care for their other children and lining up care once Dylan is released is putting a tremendous strain on their household. Not to mention the other out of pocket expenses incurred during what will be more than a week in the hospital. Please do what you can, anything is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
