Helping the Hieronymus’

On August 29,2018 Gail was volunteering at Franklin during band photos she noticed one of the students fall back and another student yell for help. Quickly she thought of the fastest way to get to the student was to climb over a small fence which she did. Upon landing she heard a loud crack and was unable to stand on her leg.  An ambulance was called to the scene and she was transported to St. Mary’s. Gail suffered a tibial plateau fracture, had a long and extensive surgery to repair the tibia. Now she begins her long road to recovery. This includes no weight on her leg for 6 weeks, physical and rehabilitation therapy. Gail will not be able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks. Gail’s children Max 18 year old who attends the Schoolcraft program for students with Autism andMegan a junior at Franklin need your help. Without short term disability and no form of income during this tragic time things like utilities, rent, cars, groceries, insurance, school events, medicine, doctor appointments and many other things add up quickly. Gail has been a part of our community and helped out and donated to many organizations. Any help would be greatly appreciated for this wonderful family.
