A little back story:
Jason and Mel met on a blind date a few years ago. They immediately hit it off and before we all knew it they were getting married! Jason has always wanted a family and children of his own, and he finally got that in Mel and her son Jayce. They soon found out they were going to be parents, and when they saw it was twins it was truly a miracle. All their dreams were coming true. The amount of love Jason has for Mel and their children is insurmountable. She is his best friend, his wildest dreams come true, and his soulmate.

On February 7th, Mel and Jason welcomed two beautiful twin boys  (Logan and Anthony) into this world! Her pregnancy and the entire delivery were as healthy as they could possibly be. They were over the moon!
On February 15th, Mel was feeding Logan when Jason noticed her inability to speak and she was losing control of her ability to hold the baby. He immediately called 911 and she was transported to Robert Packer Hospital. There they found Mel was having a left-sided stroke. She had lost the ability to speak or move her right side. Mel was life-flighted to a higher level of care for emergency surgery overnight to remove the clot in her brain. Currently, it is unclear what her prognosis will be. She has gained some sensation to her right side, but is unable to speak properly and has cognitive impairments (not knowing year or month). Thankfully Mel is able to remember everything. She knows who Jason is and she is missing all the boys, very worried about them (just like Mel to worry about everyone else)! This comes as a COMPLETE shock to everyone. Nothing can prepare someone for such a life-altering event...

What I'm asking from you:
I am reaching out to all of Jason and Mels' friends and family and even strangers to please help this family come together again. Their three children need them both. They will be unable to work at this time while Mel is still in the acute state of this stroke and they are farther from home. It is hopeful that she will make a full recovery and go back to normal life, but we won't know if that's possible for quite some time. Family is taking care of the children while Mel and Jason cannot be there, but they are missing their children so much already.

- Any amount of your donation will help Mel on her journey to recovery and help Jason be able to be at her side.
- If you are unable to donate please say a prayer, give words of encouragement, and SHARE this fund.

Miracles DO happen, and Mel has overcome so much in her life already. She is stronger than we all know and more determined than we could ever hope to be.
