Hello, my name is Pam. Recently some close friends of ours got some devastating news. Starting with last summer their toddler was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is pretty high on the spectrum and non verbal. His needs are pretty serious, requiring 24/7 supervision.

Over this last weekend their 8 year old daughter became very ill. Nauseous, throwing up everything, very lethargic and hardly able to speak. They took her into the doctor and after a couple of tests the doctor told them to rush her to the ER. While at the ER, they ran a few more tests and pumped her with fluids before transferring her by ambulance to ICU at Sacred Heart. Her diagnosis, was type 1 diabetic. This is a VERY serious disease!

Now her parents are dealing with a highly autistic child as well as a life or death disease in their daughter. They are currently running on fumes to say the least. The husband has missed lots of work and mom is not able to work due to being a, more than fulltime, mother/caretaker. I am hoping to raise money with this gofundme to help the family with any needs they have, bills, groceries, etc. We would really like to be able to get the toddler and Autism bed, which would give them a little more peace of mind at night if he wakes up. Anything and everything helps! Prayers go a long way as well and we appreciate whatever you can do.
