Hey, folks! We at Etheridge Farm Fosters believe in taking care of the animals in our community. When our neighbors across the street got a new puppy, they asked for help, and we immediately said yes. We got little Bobby all of his vaccinations, treatment for parasites, and his neuter surgery.
Not long after we started helping with Bobby, a feral cat showed up in our barn. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with humans, but we wanted to make sure he was healthy and wouldn't create any other feral cats. We trapped him, got him his vaccinations and neuter surgery, and then kept him indoors for about ten days so he could recover before we released him as a fully TNRed kitty.
We're always happy to do this important work, but it adds up. In the last month, we've spent $827.75 on vet bills for both of these animals. Neither of them are really ours (though Phantom, the feral kitty, will now remain our responsibility forever), and we certainly weren't planning to take on these costs. Thus, I am turning to you, our community, to help. Thank you. ❤️
We are always happy to do this important
