Helping Santiago's family

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden and tragic passing of Santiago Gil Alcazar.

Words from his sister, Daniela:
"Santiago was a quiet but very kind person, he was smart and he was passionate about cars, video games, and maps. He was a second year civil engineer student at the Lethbridge Polytechnic and he was about to start a summer internship at Stantec. He was full of life and projects and he always cared about his family and those around him. His death was sudden and unexpected."

You may have seen him working the Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiak's games as "GAME DAY STAFF," or his sister working at the LP Bookstore.

Santiago's family moved to Lethbridge from Colombia 5 years ago. He was shy, and kept to himself but nonetheless had a big heart. He was a playful little brother and son. He was a hard worker and would step up to the plate, helping my family in numerous ways. He had dreams and goals, as most young men do. Daniela, his mother Zoanelly and father Jhon, will miss him forever.

Please join me in helping Santiago's family in the cost of funeral and cremation services and bringing their son's ashes back to their homeland where they will spend much needed time with their loved ones. Funds will be used for cremation services, celebration of life, and getting the parents and Daniela to Colombia. EXTRA funds will support the family as they have missed work due to this tragedy.

If you wish to help their family directly, please consider e-transfers to Daniela's gmail: dagal1935

Thank you.
