<div>Hi, my name is Katie and I’m raising funds to open a cosy, welcoming rescue cat rehoming lounge in the Malvern Hills, Worcestershire, with a deeper purpose… helping rescue cats find loving forever homes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This has been a dream of mine for a long time. I want to create a calm, beautiful space where people can relax, unwind, and spend time with cats, but also make a real difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every year, thousands of cats across the UK are in need of new homes and the reality is, charities are completely overwhelmed. Many rescue centres now have long waiting lists, meaning people can be waiting weeks, sometimes even months, just to safely surrender a cat.
</div>
<div>During that time, so many animals are left in uncertain, stressful situations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rescues are full. Resources are stretched. And behind every “no space” response is a team that truly wishes they could say yes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why this rescue cat rehoming lounge matters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We plan to work closely with cat rehoming charities, giving rescue cats a safe, loving environment while they wait to be adopted. Instead of being overlooked in shelters, they’ll have the chance to socialise, build confidence, and connect naturally with people who may become their future owners.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our lounge will be more than just a place to sit with a coffee, it will be a space filled with warmth, purpose, and second chances.
</div>
<div>A space that not only supports people, but actively helps ease the pressure on charities and creates more opportunities for cats to find homes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised will go towards:
</div>
<div>• Securing and renovating a suitable lounge space
</div>
<div>• Creating a safe, enriching environment for the cats
</div>
<div>• Working alongside rehoming charities and supporting their efforts
</div>
<div>• Covering licences, legal requirements, and inspections
</div>
<div>• Furniture, equipment, and overall setup
</div>
<div>• Providing initial care, food, and wellbeing for the cats
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Starting something like this from scratch comes with significant upfront costs, and every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to opening our doors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page would mean the world and help us reach more people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for supporting not just a business, but a mission to give cats the loving homes they deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lots of love,
</div>
<div>Katie x
