<div>To ensure that the incredible amount of money raised by this community of supporters can make it to Tom,  I want to confirm that I (Lucy Bourne) am a good, longstanding friend of Tom's (Tom Shearman) - we have known each other for over 16 years having worked together at the Black Horse in Amberley and Cloud2020 together. We went on to remain close friends and I was fortunate enough to then become friends with Nu when the couple went on to meet. Being part of their wedding and later becoming a god mother to Eve, was a true honor. to add to that, watching my son Ralph and Ohner then form a friendship was truly heartwarming.

<div>Tom will be the direct beneficiary of these funds, having been added to Go Fund Me as a beneficiary, he will make the transfer. From my conversations with him, he has grand plans for what he will do to honour the memory of his beautiful family; including setting up a foundation and publishing some of Eve's writing into children's books. Firstly, however, he hopes to secure somewhere to live as a base to start the unenviable task of coming to terms with the loss of his family.
