Helping Puerto Rico after Maria

It's been a week since a Category 5 hurricane Maria destroyed my beloved island of Puerto Rico, where 3.5 million American Citizens are in crisis and desperate need. The destruction is catastrophic, but the aftermath is more horrific than the hurricane itself. A week since the most powerful storm to strike the island in 85 years, they still have no electricity, no running water, no working telephone lines or cell towers. They are running out of food, drinking water, and medicines. Here's my biggest concern... The few people that have been able to communicate with from the west and south coast have expressed that help is not getting to them and that they are running out of food, water, medicines, and basic necessities. I haven't been able to communicate with my family directly, and the town of Añasco were my mother lives is under water. This people have lost everything!!! I need to step up and help in any way I can my family, my friends, and people in need that are not getting help. I don't have the resources to do it on my own, and I need your help! I want to help the best way possible to make sure our efforts are going to the right people. No contribution is too little and 100% of the proceeds collected will be used to help the people of Puerto Rico affected by hurricane Maria. I won't be able to help the entire island, but I will help as many as I can! I will personally go there and hand deliver anything collected, and distribute funds that they can use to rebuild and obtain part of what they have lost. It will take time, but with the grace of God and with your help they will rise up again! The island of Puerto Rico will be stronger and more beautiful than ever. Thank you for your contribution!
