Peter Humphries, a dear friend and the kind of guy who would do anything for anyone in need, experienced a terrible head injury in December 2018, which nearly cost him his life. He was in a coma for several weeks.
Defying doctors' expectations, Peter made a spectacular, if not miraculous recovery in the months that followed. There was a time when they thought IF Peter recovered, he might be bedridden for months and never fully regain cognitive and motor function.
Although Peter is making great progress, he still experiences the effects of his traumatic brain injury. And because he is still in recovery, he's been unable to continue his motorsports career, which means he hasn't had a paycheck in more than seven months. But that hasn't stopped the bills from coming, including the mortgage and property taxes.
Peter doesn't ask anyone for anything. In fact, he believes it's his job to help everyone else. But he needs help to reduce his financial stress. His worry about money and keeping his home is impeding his healing process. I'm sure you can agree; money shouldn't stand in the way of Peter's full recovery.
