Helping Peggy Beat Breast Cancer

Donation protected
In November of 2017, my mother Peggy Brisky, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Peggy had a Lumpectomy in November of 2017 as well as a port being placed into her body for chemo. She started her first chemo treatment on 12-26-2017 in Appleton.

Peggy currently works at the Theda Clark Berlin Hospital in Berlin as a Food Service Associate. Due to her current chemo regiment that she is on and her possibility of becoming sick, she is unable to work due to the fact she is around sick people daily during her work schedule. Peggy will not be able to return to work till May of 2018 after her chemo regiment is completed.

Peggy will be running out of her medical paid during this time and the short term disability insurance that she has only covers 60% of her wages and that will be running out in few months as well.

Unfortunately, Peggy's health insurance deductible is extremely high and has to meet that deductible again now that its 2018. Battling cancer is a tough enough obstacle to overcome, but adding the stress of this financial issue is also a struggle for my mother. During this process, my mother will need to drive to and from Appleton for radiation treatments and as well for some doctor appointments.

I am looking to generate funds to assist my mother through this hard time with offsetting her medical costs and traveling expenses.
