I’m a caregiver for Gideon for the last 3 years, he’s an Army Veteran.

he recently got diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer… it is incurable and we are getting him ready for hospice so he may live out his last days in comfort and peace.

As of now he is no pain from the cancer thank goodness.

He has no family and no monetary resources.

I am fundraising for him to be able to cover any extra food needs for him, potentially burial costs if needed , and just to be able to buy

his chocolate bars that he’s asking for haha …. and little things I can get him to make his day.

Now that we have confirmed his cancer is incurable, I asked him how he felt about it, this is what he said: “ I will stop worrying about it”….

i told him I think that’s a really good attitude to have.
