HELP OUR COLLEAGUES IN MOZAMBIQUE DEVASTATED BY THE CYCLONE
On March 14, the Cyclone IDAI reached southern Africa, including Mozambique. The central part of the country (region of Beira, the 3rd biggest city) has been devastated. At least more than half a million people have already been affected by the storm and flooding that followed, and it is still too early to gauge the real impact of the Cyclone. Among them, two of our colleagues have lost their houses.
Our team in Mozambique has already mobilized and sent via cargo food, clean water, and zinc roof material with the aim to support around 1000 families for emergency needs. Our Mozambican colleagues have also donated clothes, shoes and toys to the cause.
The Heineken Africa Foundation is also looking to provide support.
This first round of aid is crucial, but the people impacted will need even more support in the coming months.
If you want to help our colleagues and the hundreds of impacted Mozambicans to get back on their feet and rebuild their life, you can make a donation on the crowdfunding platform we have set up on [add link].
All donations we make will be matched by HEINEKEN N.V.
This crowdfunding platform will be open until 30st of April.
On behalf of the team and people in Mozambique, thanks in advance for your contribution.
