They are planning on using their accrued PTO (Paid Time Off), which they are already halfway through and amounts to just over a week for each of them. The new mom is planning on taking a minimal 6 weeks and, after spending only 2 weeks with his newly grown family, he is planning on returning to a full schedule at work and seeking additional employment.
