Helping My Sister Janine

Donation protected
My sister Janine had a silent heart attack in April 2017. The heart attack led to a blood clot that caused a stroke which traveled to her optic nerve. Consequently she now has permanently lost sight in her right eye.

She was recently hospitalized with eosinophilic pneumonia. Eosinophilic pneumonia comprises a group of lung diseases in which eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) appear in increased numbers in the lungs and usually in the bloodstream. Certain disorders, drugs, chemicals, fungi, and parasites may cause eosinophils to accumulate in the lungs. The connection to the earlier heart trouble may be caused by elevated eosinophils. The most troubling issue is that her doctors are no closer to a diagnosis then they were at the time of her heart attack.

Her disability insurance was denied and she recently had to take a job. With the new medical issues she is not able to work. Consequently,  she is acquiring an exuberant amount of medical expenses as well as regular cost of living expenses.

I would like to be able to raise sufficient funds to help her pay these expenses while she and her doctors work toward a diagnosis.  Being ill is hard enough without having to worry about mounting expenses.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
