Helping my mom out after being laid off

My mom was laid off from her dream job & hasn’t been able to reach anyone from unemployment. On top of typical bills & her mortgage, she’s having car troubles and her furnace gave out on her. Being from Chicago, it isn’t practical to wait on getting a new furnace because our winter will get brutal at some point. Trust me when I say that it is one of the worst feelings in the world seeing your mother struggle financially and beyond stressed out all of the time. I want to take it upon myself to help her out right now and do everything that I can to get her in a better place. She means the world to me and has given me a lot in life so I think it’s time for me to help her back.
