Helping my family to RESTART!

To all my friends and family, you all know that I'm a single mother to three children Ryder, Wyatt and Lyric, and that I work  multiple jobs in order to provide everything that my children need!  We always do the best that we can,  and we  get by on a daily basis,  but right now, we need some help. Many of you know our situation with our home and our displacement from Wilmington, NC, because of the hurricane, and so many people have offered to help us, so I decided to set up this GoFundMe page for people that want to help us. We too, as a family, have been trying to help others here in Wilmington as well, after Hurricane Florence. My children have gone and volunteered with churches and schools and we have donated cleaning supplies and clothes and blankets, and we even used our Emergency Food Stamp money to purchase formula and foods for babies in need!

But sadly, now it has come to a point that my children and I are the ones in need. We have clothes and we have food and we have cleaning supplies, but sadly, as of this coming Sunday, we will not have a home. My children and I will officially be homeless. 

We have been given notice that we have to be moved out of our home this weekend  because our entire house has to be gutted  due to the extreme case of mold growing!

Due to hurricane Florence, my children and I were displaced from our home for almost 2 weeks  and After Hurricane Florence, the children and I returned home to find that our roof was severely damaged and our home took in so much water that over the last three weeks, mold has started growing everywhere. Our landlord has not done anything to take care of the situation, except for come back and forth to our home with multiple different people while he was getting free estimates for the work to be done, and now that he has someone to do the work in the least expensive manner for him, and he has collected a large insurance check, he has asked us to move out, for him to have a couple of months to do the work to his home. I have applied for FEMA three separate times and been denied all three times. I have applied for more work for me to make more income, and I have called around at least 50 different homes for rent, apartments, hotels, extended stay hotels, and airbnb's, and there is absolutely nothing available for us right now that fits our criteria or budget. My children have been out of school for over a month and I have been trying to work while balancing being a mom and trying to clean mold in our home too. It has been a nightmare! A lot of tears have been shed.....I have not had one single person to help me with cleaning my home and at this point my landlord basically is going to return my deposit that I paid for the house, but he is not doing anything to help us find a new place, nor is he responsible for it by law. We have a U-Haul rented for Saturday to pack all of our belongings up and at this point, we are headed to live in Asheville. But because I have been out of work for weeks and because this entire week has to be spent packing my house up, the bills have just poured in on me and we simply do not have the money to pay the things that need to be paid, nor to move into a new home. We have a few options in Asheville for people to stay with, but unfortunately none of them are big enough to house my entire family and pets and I, so I'm having to separate my children and I out to different places to stay, and this is breaking my heart! The last thing I wanted was for us to lose our home, but even worse is us having to be separated during such a sad and stressful time for all of us!

So here I am, reaching out to friends and family, and asking for some support. If you are able to offer support, it would be greatly appreciated!

Here's to praying that I'm able to raise enough money for the children and I to pay a deposit and a first month's rent on a new home in Asheville, along with all the deposits for utilities! Hopefully we will have a home next week, as being separated from my children is devastating to me!
