Helping Manheim Twp Kids in Need

Alana decided to organize a charitable initiative at her workplace to assist local families in need, this Christmas. She started by contacting Landin's school in Manheim Township who provided families/children (anonymous to us) in need. 

In total, 52 kids were given to Alana with their Christmas gift wishes. We were expecting to see requests like "toy truck" and "Hatchimals" (that's a thing). However, to our surprise, numerous children asked for items many of us take for granted. We saw multiple requests for deodorant, shampoo and soap as well as gift cards to Walmart so the children could have a few pieces of winter clothing. This broke our hearts!

So, while Alana and her co-workers will be purchasing each child a surpise for Christmas morning, we thought it would be great if we were able to raise some additional money to go toward the essentials so the families have a little less to worry about, this winter. We will use the money to buy toiletries, warm clothes and winter jackets.

Any money we raise will be divided equally amongst the children and any money we might raise above our goal will allow us to reach out to additional families in need.
