<div>Our Department has suffered an unimaginable loss today, our hearts are shattered by the sudden and unexpected loss of Morgan Hughes. On December 19th, Morgan gave birth to two beautiful twins, Georgia and Hudson. Tragically, just days later, on December 28th, Morgan passed away before she could take them home. Morgan was only 22 years old.

<div>Morgan was a kind and loving soul whose greatest joy was becoming a mother. She was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her—radiating warmth, kindness, and joy.

<div>Morgan’s father, Brian Hodson, is a Captain with Lone Peak Fire department. Brian has been a part of this department dating back to the volunteer days, which means Morgan has been part of this fire family longer than the majority of our full-time staff. She grew up visiting the station, spending time within these walls, and building connections with all of us. Morgan was, and will always remain, a cherished member of this family.

<div>Your generosity, no matter the amount, will help Sam navigate this tragic time and provide for the future of these precious babies.

<div>Every contribution, prayer, or kind word matters more than you can imagine. Thank you for your love, kindness, and compassion during this heartbreaking time. Morgan’s legacy of love lives on through her beautiful twins, the memories she created with those who loved her, and the indelible mark she left on her family.
