<div>Our Department has suffered an unimaginable loss today, our hearts are shattered by the sudden and unexpected loss of Morgan Hughes. On December 19th, Morgan gave birth to two beautiful twins, Georgia and Hudson. Tragically, just days later, on December 28th, Morgan passed away before she could take them home. Morgan was only 22 years old.

<div>Morgan’s father, Brian Hodson, is a Captain with Lone Peak Fire department. Brian has been a part of this department dating back to the volunteer days, which means Morgan has been part of this fire family longer than the majority of our full-time staff. She grew up visiting the station, spending time within these walls, and building connections with all of us. Morgan was, and will always remain, a cherished member of this family.
