Helping Marion’s family at this sad time

Marion was a beautiful, strong and independent wife, mother of 5 and Grandmother of 10 that Sadly on the 16th August 2021 lost her life in a battle against Covid with her husband Gary beside her. Through her years she has overcome many battles one being a double lung transplant back in April 2010 which enabled her to have a 2nd chance at life and make many happy memories with her family and Grandchildren she wouldn’t of otherwise met. It’s not been an easy walk in the park - she suffered lung rejection twice, kidney failure for many years and again Covid at the start of the pandemic but sadly this time round it was one fight too many and Marion gained her Angel wings and is now back with her beloved Carby.

We would like to try and raise some funds for the family to put towards funeral costs and help during this difficult time or even to enable us to help towards keepsake bears using Marion’s clothes for the Children/Grandchildren that weren’t given the opportunity to see or say goodbye to her due to Covid.
