Support for LJ

On December 12th, 2017 Lafayette "LJ" Rodriguez McAlphin Jr. An 8th grader at Chisum in Paris ,Tx collapsed during Athletics from a cardiac malfunction. He was flown to Chidren's Medical Center in Dallas,Tx. Where he has underwent two surgeries so far. He has a long road ahead of him,with more surgeries to go. Even with such a grim prognosis, hope and perseverance we are the defining themes of LJ's story.His mother Valarie and Father Anthony Burton have not left his side. His family is going to need alot of help with medical bills and  living support while being with their son and not being able to work. LJ is an active member in the youth department at Solid Rock Baptist Church, football player,and part of the marching band little did he know that his heart was abnormal. He has Dreams of being a professional dancer when he grows up. Lets come together and help this family in their time of need! Prayer chains are continuously growing for this young man.
