Helping Lindsay Rebuild

Our friend Lindsay Wiegel lost her home in the devastating  Almeda/Glendower Fire, in Jackson County, Oregon.

On Tuesday, September 8, fire spread up the Rogue Valley from Ashland, Oregon to the town of Talent, where Lindsay lived.  Lindsay could not get home to retrieve anything before she was evacuated, so everything is gone.  She is safe, but has lost irreplaceable mementos, memories and family heirlooms - and everything else, too.  It was all destroyed in the fire.

Gabriel and I have known Lindsay for 12 years.  I first got a chance to know her laugh, her thoughtfulness, and the sound of her walk when I was a stitcher in the OSF costume department.  Over the years, we've connected over restricted diets, health, the love of wine and the love of laughter.  Lindsay has lived in the Rogue Valley for most of her life and is invested in creating a community that supports all its people.

Let's return that support and create a community of love around Lindsay.  Let's help Lindsay rebuild her life!  We love you.

Donations will go directly to Lindsay and she will determine how she'll use them - because only she knows what she truly needs.   Please make a donation if you can, and please share.
