Helping Light Her Treatment

My wife Jeanna is an amazing lady. She is a selfless person who has volunteered her time, money, and efforts to help others. Whether it be Light the Night for leukemia and lymphoma, Wishes for Rainbow’s Hope, or the Cystic Fibrosis walk, she’s been there to help, usually with Cotton Candy and a smile.

My wife has breast cancer. We thought we caught it early but it had spread into her lymph nodes. She had them (lymph nodes) removed but the possibility of active cancer cells post surgery remains. Her biggest task lies ahead, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

This hits my wife and I particularly hard, as her father lost his battle to cancer almost 6 years ago.

I’m hoping raising money to pay for my wife’s treatments, medical expenses and travel. Unfortunately, health insurance doesn’t cover everything. Her treatments will not be fully covered, that’s our biggest expense. Any left over funds remaining, after the co-pays and treatments are met, will be donated to a breast cancer charity of Jeanna’s choice, from our friends and family.
