Helping Landon get a new chair
Donation protected
As some of you already know Lisa’s husbands truck was stolen on 12/27/17 while he was working. The truck was recovered however it was totaled and one of the things stolen from inside the vehicle was Landon’s new wheelchair. Landon is 7 years old and is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and he is completely unable to stand or walk. His wheelchair is his legs. This means without his chair Landon can’t accomplish his day to day activities. Landon’s wheelchair was only about a month old when it was stolen so his mom does have a backup chair that weighs about 70lbs isn't in the best condition and doesn’t really fit Landon that well anymore. The chair that was stolen weighs about 30lbs and was much easier to transport. We’re currently unsure if the automobile insurance company will cover Landon’s chair being stolen and since the chair was so new it’s going to be quite an uphill battle with the health insurance company to get Landon a new one in a timely manner. In closing, time is of the essence Landon cannot go without mobility. Any help getting Landon into a new chair would be greatly appreciated!!
