<div>Please help break the generational cycle of drug and alcohol addiction: The vision for <strong>The Refuge at Freedom Ranch</strong> is to create a therapeutic environment for at-risk youth from the surrounding counties of Southwest Virginia by pairing them with horses and other farm animals. <div><strong>Our goal is to not only provide a safe environment to find respite, but also to provide tools to break the generational cycle of addiction, teaching prevention and also offering hope for recovery.</strong> Through the process, we also seek to nurture their faith in Jesus Christ, fostering a holistic approach to their well-being.

<div>Our long-term vision is to support any children who have the desire to participate in horsemanship competitions (particularly reined cow horse), learn any trade of the horse/farming/construction industry for future job possibilities (horse trainer, farrier, veterinarian, farmer, fence builder, to name a few).

<div>We are currently constructing a 120' x 240' training and competition arena on our property for the children to learn to ride and to compete. We are also planning on building a 75' x 75' barn, including 8 horse stalls and a 50' x 50' indoor horse training arena to be used in inclement weather.

<div>We believe that the natural beauty at Freedom Ranch provides an ideal setting for finding peace and restoration for those in need.
