UPDATE- Khan is still in surgery. The vet phoned to say she had never seen the type of wound on Khan's palate. She has seen it in dogs with cancer but never in a cat. He now needs a CT scan to check for cancer and of course this will cost more, another £1000. He also has a lump either side at the back of his mouth which will need investigating.

The cost of his endoscopy has been covered. To get him on his final road to recovery he will need surgery to close up the 3 large holes on his soft palate. I am unsure at this point how much this is going to cost. I have reset the goal to get started on the next part of his treatment. I am so humbled by the kindness and generosity of everyone and am happy beyond belief xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hello my name is Khan and I am very poorly. On Friday I lost my meow and my Mummy took me to the vets who gave me some medicine. The medicine did not work and I couldn't breathe so my Mum had to rush me to the emergency vet's over the weekend. I had to stay there on oxygen. The next day I had to go back to my daytime vets and they looked in my throat whilst I was asleep. I have three puncture wounds on my epiglottis and my throat hurts so much. My vet says I need to go to a specialist cat doctor tomorrow but my Mum does not have the money to help save my life. It's not her fault she works hard but she helps run a cat rescue centre and she often takes in other animals which she funds herself. She also looks after her own Mummy who is 83 and lives for her. I urgently need to go to London tomorrow for an endoscopy (I think that means they are putting a camera down my throat, I hope i am asleep). If my Mum can't raise the money by the end of today I will have to go to heaven and I am frightened and sad. Thank you for listening.
