Helping Kaylee and Sheena recover from COVID-19

My sister and I moved in together in May, hopeful that we would be able to make this year a turning point in both of our lives. Unfortunately, not only has the coronavirus made it difficult to find work, but once we found work we both got sick. Because I’m in training at my job, I won’t be able to return to work once I’m better again, and she had to tell her prospective employer that she wouldn’t be able to start work when they planned, due to quarantining.

We’re in desperate need of help to afford groceries, medicine, and gas so we can focus on getting better and not have to worry about trying to go out while sick and find money to live on, and potentially infect others who could be hurt even worse by this disease. My sister and I try to be as self sufficient as possible, but we need help. Anything you’re able to donate would be greatly appreciated and will mean we’ll be better equipped to recover without endangering anyone else. Thank you for your consideration.

If our goal is surpassed, we will use the remaining money to pay some of our overdue utilities andrent so we can continue to have a place to stay while recovering.
