Helping Katie Rebuild after Harvey

My friend Katie, Katie's husband, their 6 year old daughter and their dog, Maddie, were forced into a last minute evacuation (by boat) when the City of Houston needed to relieve 'downtown water' and flooded their neighborhood, home and business. They literally lost everything they owned including home (8' of water on the first floor), cars, furniture, clothes - only escaping with one bag. They've obtained a rental car and an apartment but they are truly starting over. Insurance doesn't cover flooding and FEMA is unlikely given they are not 'low income'. Please consider donating money or things you no longer need - they are not asking for help but I want to help them and hope you are able as well. They aren't ready for physical donations yet as they are not in thier new apartment but please check back for when they are ready and I'll help connect you.
