Helping Jojo Get Her Independence Back!

Donation protected
On November 13th, our beloved Jojo was in a car accident and flipped her SUV. Luckily she was unharmed and no one else was involved. At this point we are not certain what exactly happened but that her car started to jerk to one side, hit a few cars and one just at the right spot that caused her to flip. After hanging for almost 40 minutes, having firemen break all the windows and then cutting the roof off of her car, firemen were able to pull Jojo out to safety. That in itself was traumatic enough. But the good news she is unharmed and no one was injured.
The bad news is her car is most likely totaled. This handicapped car was specially made for Jojo and was a journey for her to obtain it while she waited for it to be converted to her needs as these cars take time to make sure it meets all the government approvals and what nots. Not to mention the expense for a specialized car as this. This car did not just get Jojo from
point A to point B, but a relief of independence and freedom. Jojo will now have to face that road all over again and start from zero looking for the right car to convert to her needs and allow her the freedom of driving herself around. Not only will this take time, but unexpected expenses as well. This year has been a tough year for her already. Jojo
worked so hard with help of her family and friends to be able to purchase that car and I am hoping we can rally around her again and offer our support. These funds will go towards any extra expenses insurance will not be able to cover towards Jojo purchasing a new handicapped vehicle specifically made to fit her needs. Hopefully these funds will give Jojo a piece of mind as she waits for insurance to conduct an investigation and starting this journey all over again.
