Helping Joey as he recovers from his accident

On September 9th, 2020 – my brother Joey was in an ATV Accident. He was thrown from the vehicle and landed on his hip. He has a very long road ahead of him. After 2 weeks in the hospital and 2 surgeries, he is home healing from his ordeal. Joey had a 6-hour surgery on 9/14/20 to address his shattered acetabular. Then a 2nd long surgery on 9/18/20 to repair his pelvic ring, and reposition his pelvis that was shifted back and up towards his navel, and damage to his lower 3 vertebrae in his back.

My brother is an hourly diesel mechanic at Verizon. People have come to ask me what they can do to help, and I think the best help I can give is starting this GoFundMe. These funds will help with the medical bills that aren’t covered by insurance, and give him a cushion until he is back on his feet. (Literally). Joey's job is extremely physical and until he can get back to moving, he's unable to work as a mechanic.
