<div>With the greatest sadness and the recent tragic events, my family and I have decided to open a Go Fund Me page on behalf of my son Joel Brokenbrough and his newborn son, Jonah.

<div>Joel and his wife Kiara Brokenbrough were married 4 years ago and were expecting their first child in June.
</div>

<div>They were in the process of moving from West Virginia back to California to make a new home for their growing family.
</div>

<div>Unexpectedly, Kiara went to her Heavenly home while Baby Jonah entered his earthly home. He is in NICU and has begun his long journey to grow stronger and healthier each day.
</div>

</div>
<div>Jonah is a cutie and a fighter and by God’s grace and POWER we know he will astound the doctors with his daily progress.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Understandably, this tragedy has taken a devastating toll on Joel. He will need support (physically, mentally, spiritually, and monetarily) from his family and friends and the kindness of strangers.
</div>

</div>
<div>As Joel begins this unimaginable next chapter as an only parent, to a premie in the NICU and having to deal with the heartache of losing his beloved wife (whom he loves so much) he needs all the support he can get as he tries to navigate through life without her.
</div>
