Helping Joe heal

Joey Kline has always been an extremely hard worker, with a work ethic secondary to none. The only thing that exceeds his work ethic is his heart for loving his family, helping others and motivating others, whether is it through posting positive quotes, or through acts of service including chopping and cutting down wood to donate to those who cannot afford to heat their homes.  

On January 24, Joey unfortunately fell 20 feet off a ladder while dropping a tree, causing him to sustain compression fractures in his T1-2 and L1 & 3 vertebrae, his sternum, his Left ribs, and basically shattered the distal part of his left radius which will require surgery to fix.  Unfortunately, on the second day that he was in the hospital, he also developed Pneumonia, which has complicated his recovery as he’s not able to have his wrist surgery until his lungs have fully recovered.  He has progressed well, however, still has quite the recovery ahead of him, as he is still going to have to undergo wrist surgery, and have a pro-longed period of time off work.  He will most likely require 12 weeks of postsurgical recovery including PT and OT to help him fully get as close to his prior level of function as possible. 

He would never be one to ask for help, but as manyof you know, medical bills add up quickly, and we would love to help make this time of recovery and time off work as stress free for Dad as possible.  All funds earned will be used towards medical bills and covering any out of pocket expenses that Dad may face due to this accident. We also ask for your continued prayers, as we all know who the ultimate physician is, and who has ultimately been the one who has been healing Dad thus far!
