Jesse Crossman- xo

On Friday night, November 10th, our son, Jesse (and two passengers ) hit a patch of November black ice. Thankfully, though there were injuries, both his friends are doing okay.  (His main concern then and still now.  xo)

Jesse was driven home in shock and walked around for two days before seeking care.

(Cervical spine fractures and dislocations should always be suspected when a patient has been involved in a trauma or accident, especially those patients with neck pain. The diagnosis can be complicated when the symptoms or physical findings are atypical. Some patients with other fractures or injuries will complain about pain in other locations, but not complain of neck pain.  At times, patients may downplay the severity of the motor vehicle accident or trauma.) (this from the University of Southern California's website).

It was discovered Monday, the 13th, through x-rays, a CT Scan, and an MRI Jesse was suffering from two fractures to the neck (C6 and C7) and a few other hard blows. He is to be in a rigid neck brace with VERY limited movement for three months - 24/7. He is in pain, and great discomfort, as well as being overwhelmed by all this means.
His truck is totaled.

Several members of our extended family, along with dear friends, have asked for a way to reach out to him.  This fund was suggested.

We are ever so grateful the good people in the truck are alive and able to give thanks this ThanksGiving and the next and next... xo

This photo was taken this past summer.

We are also thankful to be witness to any slivers of brightness each day and to know there are many more to come.

Jesse, with time, patience, and help will make a full recovery but for now this means lots.  We offer kind thanks to all who have reached out~it means so very much to all of us.

With the gift of your $ donation Jesse will try to stay afloat of bills from loss of work and one day he will buy a safe car/truck. He tells us he will always wear his safety/seat belt!

With heartfelt thanks and love,
Patty (mama), family, and friends...

I didn't know how to set a $ goal. If we meet it great, if we exceed for him Yahoo! If he gets a wee bit of help we are ever so grateful.
