Helping homeless and injured dogs and cats

I’m raising money for a family who are finding and taking care of lots of homeless and injured street-dogs and cats on their own. In a country where there are no shelters or any governmental veterinary that will help out with animals. Homeless dogs and cats are usually mistreated by people and are all in a very bad situation.
This man and wife have built their home around a safe-haven for these poor animals that are injured and handicapped, they go around the town looking for hungry and injured animals. They take them to their shelter, feed them and nurse them back to health. All expenses paid by themselves. They are feeding some 50+ animals on their own. And they are barely holding up. So many more animals to help, but they can't make it, without more funding. This couple has devoted their whole lives to helping these animals, but need financial assistance to be able to keep up the work. To buy food, medicines and in some cases expensive surgeries for some of the animals in need.
They are trying to create a life for animals in need that are in dire straits, through no fault of their own. They are injured and cast out by the cruelty of other people. But this couple have devoted their lives to help these animals in need. They recieve no help whatsover with local authorities as animal lives are not given any consideration at all, the help they receive are some limited support from friends. They, themselves cannot start a Gofundme, as they live in Iraqi Kurdistan. They are however calling for any kind of help that can be given. She is my high-school friend and she had this dream together with her husband to start an animal shelter. They have accomplished that, but need help with funding to help feed the animals. Please, help me to help them. All of the donations will be sent directly to the shelter.
