Helping Hands for Sandy and Sondra

They say when it rains it pours... and this has been true for my sister and her husband recently.
Last week my sister found out some bad news with the servicing company that holds her mortgage. Many years ago when she divorced the only thing she cared about was keeping her kids and keeping the house that was home to all of them. Due to low income and not so great credit she ended up with a company that was not a bank but some sort of servicing company. She  recently found out that this company was tagging on so many fees for assorted things. Any time they were ever late the company would charge an "inspection fee" to drive by and see if the home was still occupied. She was  also charged subscription fees, valuation fees and licencing fees which no one seems to know exactly what all  that is. Regardless the contract is coming to an end and she only has 60 days to pay all of the fees that have accrued . This has been a source of serious stress for her and no matter how hard she tries  would not be able to come close to paying this. This would then put the house into foreclosure. Living in the same home for 30 years and this company is saying they will foreclose on the home over such a small amount.

So during this past week of trying to figure out what to do, Sandy her husband was rushed to the hospital and that same day admitted. He is facing some serious health issues and will be in the hospital for at least a month and possibly longer. He has no medical insurance thru his work and no paid time off. Its unimaginable what the amount of the hospital bill will be. Yes, they can apply for some assistance on the bill and hopefully they will receive some. But also the loss of his income will hit hard, not just for the basic bills but all this coming at a bad time when they are trying desperately to save their home.
They have also been sharing one car as their other car is sitting in the  shop  waiting on them to pay for the repair.
It just seems that everything has hit them so hard all at once. Those of you that know my sister know that she would never ask anyone for anything. She is the one that helps others. It is in her nature to do for others. She recently spend many hours of her time off helping me with a personal situation and now I want to help her back.  She has always been a hard worker and has even worked two jobs at a time or picked up side jobs for extra income. The past week she has been selling many items in her home to try to raise  money.

I know that living week to week is a reality for many people. I know that many people cannot afford to donate and that is understandable so for those who can't we ask for prayers for the situation. For anyone who can donate I want to say thank you. A few dollars from so many people can add up quickly and go a long way! Every single dollar counts and every single dollar is greatly appreciated! Please help them save their house and get thru this medical crisis as well.  Because I know she would do this for anyone who needed help. Because I know she has donated to help others in the past so now lets bring it all full circle. Because isn't that what life is about? Helping others in times of need.
Thank you so much in advance for all your prayers, thoughts, comments and donations.
