Helping Hands for Michael's Battle with Cancer

A few days before Thanksgiving, Michael ("Mike") had to go the hospital, where a large tumor was discovered. The next day a biopsy was performed and those results later revealed malignancy....Cancer....We were in shock, because Michael is young and otherwise healthy. He is a wonderful husband, amazing father, my best friend, and an amazing person all around.  He is definitely one of my biggest blessings! Michael is one of the most generous people that I have ever known and loves uplifting others. It is very hard for him to be the one in need and he doesn't like to ask for help, but he is need of uplifting. If you pray, please remember him in your prayers. Michaels treatments will consist of chemo, extensive radiation, and likely surgery. This will take a toll on him physically, mentally, and emotionally and we expect that he will be out of work for some time. He will also be having oral surgery as part of pre-radiation treatment. If he is a candidate for TORS Robotic Surgery, and we hope that he will be, this will attempt to remove the tumor. There are at least two lymph nodes involved at this point, which will be removed, as well. Funds raised here will help us pay his medical bills, which are mind-blowing already.
