Timothy is an 18 year old young man living in Anchorage, AK with his parents and 2 brothers. This young man has been a fighter his whole life being born with Pediatric Heterotaxy Syndrome. This is a condition that involves certain organs and structures, including the heart, having formed on the wrong side of the body, or being arranged in patterns that are atypical.  This syndrome has caused a lifetime of medical complications for Timothy that he and his family have bravely overcome.
  Timothy’s parents both work in the service industry in between trips to the lower 48 for medical care for their son. While they travel, Timothy translates for his parents whose first language is not English, as they advocate for their son and attempt to stay on top of all the complications navigating this lifetime condition.
  In talking with Timothy he presents as humble, confident, and articulate. While he graduated High School in May of 2020 (despite missing tons of school due to illness), he is unable to work due to the pandemic and his compromised immunity. . Timothy enjoys drawing with both pen and pencil as well as digitally and admits that physical activity tires him out pretty quickly.
  Timothy’s family works hard and has not reached out to the community for help. During these troubling times they were encouraged to seek support by a family friend. This page is intended to assist the Souvannaseng family with expenses related to Timothy’s medical condition which may eventually lead to the need for organ transplant.
