Helping Hand for the Robinsons

My beautiful sister Tarra is a single mother of 3 wonderful children and an amazing, giving, and caring person. She has always been first to step up and help her friends and neighbors, whether it was being a home health care companion for the elderly or helping her neighbors. She does all this as well as care for her son Clay who has been diagnosed with collagen VI-related myopathy, also known as Ullrich congenital muscular dystrophy. This disease causes muscle weakness as well as many other symptoms which requires them to make several trips to the doctor annually for treatment. 

      Last year she visited the doctor for what was thought to be a kidney stone. The imaging came back and they thought she had a "simple" cyst on her liver. Over time she started feeling way worse and returned to the doctor where they had discovered the cyst had become the size of a softball. MRI, lab work, and oncologists soon followed. Her physician was consulted and was concerned that the growth was possibly cancerous and she was informed that she would require surgery as soon as possible. Three days ago she was admitted for a surgery to remove this. She is still being cared for at the hospital pending release in a few days. 




      I know that this kind of procedure happens on a daily basis but with her recovery, she will be out of work for a substantial amount of time. Considering the medical bills as well as house bills, I am pleading for anyone and everyone to help my sister and her family who has helped so many to get through this tough time during the holiday season. I can't stress enough on how wonderful a person and mother she is and just needs a helping hand. Thank You!
