Help Support Tammy and Roy: A Community in Need

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

We come to you today with a heartfelt plea for support for Tammy and her husband Roy, who have dedicated their lives to caring for animals and serving our community. As many of you know, they run a beloved farm and transport animals, including horses and dogs that can’t be flown from Alaska due to their short snouts. Their efforts have allowed countless families to keep their cherished pets while moving to and from Alaska.

Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn for Tammy. In a recent Facebook post, she shared that she experienced a serious fall while caring for her horse, Bug. This incident resulted in a broken clavicle and a broken ankle, both on her left side. She described the pain as some of the worst she’s ever felt and shared her struggles with mobility, as she is currently unable to use crutches. Tammy admitted to scooting on her butt just to get to the bathroom, and with Roy also dealing with a medical crisis, they are trying to manage everything without adding to his burden.

While Bug her horse is reported to be okay, the emotional toll of the fall has been significant. Tammy’s dedication to her animals is unwavering, as she expressed concern for Bug immediately after the accident, prioritizing her horse’s well-being even in her own pain.

Tammy has been a cherished figure in the equine community for years, known for her cowgirl spirit and unwavering dedication to helping others. However, she is also the type of person who finds it hard to ask for help, even when it is desperately needed.

They are now in need of financial support to cover lost income, out-of-pocket expenses, and to hire a farm hand to assist during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help them continue their vital work in our community.
