Late last year, our darling friend Maree underwent surgery to remove her kidney and the lymph nodes surrounding her kidney due to a hereditary cancer.
June 2018
A scan found that there was a spot on her lung and she was told to go back in August 2018 for another scan to check its growth. Unfortunately at the time, nothing else could be done unless the spot grew.
July 2018
Maree began to feel extreme back pain so she went back to the doctors and was told the heart breaking news that they had found more cancers on her spine. The reason her back pain had been so severe was because the cancer growths had cracked her vertebrae.
August 2018
Our sweet Maree has had to take some time off work to receive treatment and this page was created by her friends from work to lend a helping hand to one of the most kindest people we know. We know how hard life can sometimes get and this is just a little something to help you until you are back at work.
