Helping Hand for Homeless Brother

This is my brother Bruce.  He has been homeless in the city of San Francisco for over 7 1/2 years.  He has been sleeping on the streets, in missions and shelters during this time.  He finally received notice from the homeless coalition that a single occupant room is now available for him but he must come-up with money to pay for the room . They will be working with him over the next few days to determine how much out of his security benefit (he had a stroke at the age of 34 and is on disability) will be taken to pay for the room on a monthly basis moving forward.  He just needs to get a jump start in paying for the room from 8/14 through the end of the month.  He could also use some assistance with personal care items, a pillow, a blanket and a towel.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciate.  Thank you, loving sister Linda.
