Grayson Needs You!

This GoFundme account is being set up for Grayson Calvert and his family.  Grayson was born September 22, 2016 with gastroschisis (his intestines on the outside of his body)  and spent his first 5 months in Children's Hospital in Birmingham after having surgery to repair his intestines at just a few hours old.  Numerous procedures followed before he went home in February.  Unfortunately, his time at home has been short with frequent infections and extended hospital stays.  He is tube fed and has had problems with accepting feeds over his short life.  His most recent problems include an abdominal aortic aneurysm (life threatening) and impending liver failure.  His mother, Michelle is traveling with Grayson to Omaha, Nebraska by medi-vac to have him evaluated for a possible liver transplant and resolution of the aneurysm - which they hope will help alleviate some of his problems.   Michelle has not been able to work since Grayson was born and his dad, Chris is planning to drive to Omaha to be with Michelle and Grayson for some of the 6 - 8 weeks they will be there.  Chris' employer does not offer any type of paid leave, so their household bills and out of pocket expenses while on the road will be difficult.   If you can help, please share this gofundme with everyone you know.  Grayson is a beautiful, sweet and loveable little boy and needs both of his parents with him at this difficult time.  Thank you for your support.
