Helping get Isna home.

My name is Marie Bartsch.  The Tua family has worked for our family restaurant Indochine for 20 years....they are our family.  This past weekend Hurricane Florence was a disaster to many....but for Maruli and his children it was a devastating, tragic and incomprehensible event.

September 14th our Indonesian chef Maruli, his wife Isna and 2 children left Wilmington, NC to go inland to get away from Hurricane Florence.  They arrived in Goldsboro to refuel.  In that moment Isna suffered a massive stroke at 42.   They were graced with angels at that moment Theresa & Henry......they were able to help call 911, console Maruli, the kids and be a support until Indochine family could get there and have a familiar face..it took Mama Aer two days to get there from Alabama.   Isna was now on full life support....we all had hope she would survive.  Tuesday September 18th the heavens gained another ANGEL.

Isna leaves behind her beloved husband Maruli her two beautiful children Nadia & Arfeen.  Isna was a dedicated mother to both her children.... she gave her children the best that America could give.  She was a wonderful friend to many with the biggest heart and softest kindest voice....it will be greatly missed.

We are starting this Go Fund Me to help the family with funeral expenses of getting Isna returned to Indonesia where she will be laid to rest.  In addition we hope to raise funds to help Maruli and his kids.  Their son has severe autism and will need care.
