Helping Flood Victims (Sindupalchowk, Nepal)

https://youtu.be/jvE5d7c08is There are Small Villages in Sindhupalchowk, which people are unaware of due to heavy rainfall, major flooding have swept away homes, roads, bridges, schools and businesses and forces thousands of residents to flee their home. In response, we are rallying together to support a range of needs related to the Villages floods and provide medical supplies for flood victims. Our focus will be on preventing an epidemic and the spread of water borne diseases.

Heavy rains since 14th of June, have left large portions of area under flood water, causing deaths, and affecting normal lives of villagers in the area. More than 3000 homes have been submerged and a total of 23 people have lost their lives so far due to floods, landslides and inundations caused by the recent torrential rainfall. This number is expected to increase due to high risk of health hazards caused by scarcity of safe drinking water and medical supplies in the affected areas.
